Opener "Affirmation" is an almost overwhelmingly positive chunk of loose and baggy disco house that's similar in feel - if not sound - to Tom Trago classic "Use Me Again". "Agilo E Olio", on the other hand, is a much more driving and low-slung affair, with key wickedly rubbery bass, cowbell-heavy percussion and fuzzy Clavinet lines providing heaps of dancefloor energy. Laurence Guy gives that track a warm, woozy and dreamy deep house makeover, before Nebraska rounds things off via the jaunty dub-house-meets-Maurice Fulton brilliance of EP standout "Big Plate Chicken".

Well, to those who carefully read the production credits on records, his real name is John Holbrook, a well respected mixer and sound engineer who worked, produced and recorded on Todd Rundgren’s Bearsville records from 1974 to 1980. Often bootlegged or found in compilations, we are honoured to bring you this minimal classic by Brian Briggs in all its glory incl the incredible pop art cover which prob also inspired the logo of that notorious Art Gallery on 76 Grand st NYC. Re-mastered for optimal club use, these are official re-issues of some of Dance Music’s most influential cuts.

We've had our eyes and ears on Tee Mango for a while now. His debut album 'Imperfections' is a future classic in our book and the Tribute series has been part of our DJ-sets for a while now. In short - we had to get him to do an EP for Local Talk. DADHAUS EP is forward-thinking music with an edge (undoubtedly sharpened through countless studio hours). Tee channels the deep house flavours of Detroit and Chicago across four tracks of exquisitely executed percussion and 'sample-not-sample' work. It's another winner from the man like Tee Mango.
