Bobby Analog launches his Body Fusion imprint with an EP of disco infused house jams in a similar vein to Shir Khan's Black Jukebox series. "Luvwomanboogie" gets us underway, looping up a grooving disco drum pattern before getting creative with some nicely looped guitar chops, rolling B-line and occasional bursts of vocal goodness. Bobby works the filters and the high Qs during some well executed breakdowns before slipping us tighly into the main hook sections. "It's Hard To Be A B-Side" rolls out on a deep house tip, not a million miles away from Rick Wade or Delano Smith. Wavy organ sounds, crisp, rolling drums and low bass licks paired with a seductive vocal ident. "Some Aul Horn On Me" rounds off the EP succinctly, another guitar and horn led disco-house hybrid which shakes, rattles and rolls outta the speaker stacks delightfully.

Secretsundaze's 021 comes in the shape of a 2 tracker from Endian. For those that don't know Endian is the house/techno alias of George Levings most famously known as Commix (Metalheadz). This new single from the duo, the ambiguously named "Dish", is the perfect hybrid, a tune that sits somewhere between house and electronica, but the mid-point is beautifully lo-fi in its approach, making this fall under the umbrella terms of 'balearic'. The vocals of the A-side are absolutely non-intrusive and, in fact, add to the charm and charisma of the harmonies locked tightly into this majestic tribal groove; you can imagine how perfectly lush the dub version sounds. Strong contender for dance record of the year- Red Rack'em's incredibly wonderful and fantastically wonky, Disco Banger, was rereleased on Classic this year. After a few months of slowly embedding itself in people subconscious, it returns with new mixes. First up in the marvellously talented KiNK - Strahil is no stranger to Classic, having made a stamp on the label many years ago with his remix 3rd Face. He's gone from strength to strength with his productions which have been accompanied by his glorious live performances. Kink goes in, heads down with some proper techno Wonk. This is indeed a beast. On the flip Luke Solomon joins forces with Bristol's very own Eats Everything and Lord Leopard, creating a Bristol 'Circle of Three.' The Luke Eats Leopard edit adds a slight bit of conformity to the drums and the arrangement, without taking out too much of the Wonk but taking it ever so slightly into 'house ' territory.
