Almost 2 years after the success of the album THE TONY ALLEN EXPERIMENTS and a few months after the release of the 7inch AMORE, Nu Guinea return to the scene with a new LP published by their newborn label NG RECORDS. After touring the world looking for sounds suitable for their vibrations, NU GUINEA decided to go back to square one, Napoli, where Massimo Di Lena and Lucio Aquilina were born and raised. They watched their city from a distance reconstructing its energy from their studio in Berlin, calibrating the synths on the meridian of Vesuvius, the volcano that has always protected and threatened Napoli.

The influence of '90s trance on contemporary dance music has been obvious for a while, though as far as we can remember this single-sided salvo marks the first time a fashionable underground label has released an official remix of a trance classic. The classic in question is Dutch trancer Three Drives' popular progressive trance club smash "Greece 2000", which was absolutely massive in clubs back in 1997. Moscoman smartly pitches down the groove a little to appeal to house and disco floors, a move that allows Three Drives beautiful piano motifs, drifting pads and bubbling electronic melodies a little more breathing space. Wisely, Moscoman has also included a trippy, stripped-back breakdown, which only serves to heighten excitement when the main groove and melody drops back in.

Following on from one of the most sought after reissues of recent years 'MUSICA PARA EL FIN DE LOS CANTOS' on Berlin's Cocktail D'amore, Iury Lechs debut LP 'Otra Rumorosa Superficie' is made available for the very first time on vinyl launching the reissue division of London based Utopia Records set up in 2015 by Alexander Bradley. This cassette only release from 1989 is a minimal masterpiece practically unheard until now. Arguably a more complete album than '...De Los Cantos', originally composed for two short films 'Final Sin Pausas' and 'Bocetos Para Un Sueno' as a full score, the arrangement is a beautiful listening experience spanning through ambient, meditational and cinematic minimalism of real depth, romanticism and sincerity.

The first penn called: “spare hobby”. He described the resultant musical translation as “higher level inter-dimensional funk”. His utterances while under the influence of 4-ho-met were captured partly using a device the subject described as “a vocoder”. His capability to form complex melodic structures was striking. The second interpretation was titled “carrera” and composed during a period of vivid hallucination. The subject sweated profusely throughout and became obsessed with driving electronic drums. He told of seeing purple-coloured ghosts, which he attempted to portray musically via wild synthesizer flourishes and what he said was called a “bass line”.

In the mid-80's, an original form of music was discovered on the midi-capable little planet of Austin, Texas. At the age of 32, Charles Ditto would release his first solo album applying cutting edge computers and synthesizers of the era (Roland DX7, Roland MKS-20, Roland MKS-80, Sequential Circuits Profit 2000 along with a Macintosh SE), creating a unique and detailed world that was inspired by Cluster, Eno & The Residents. In Human Terms bridges the gab between contemporary classical and minimal pop. Rhythmic but melodically abstract. Microtonal and organic. Often described as experimental electronics, tone poems or Cyber-delic-psychotropic-avante-garde. In Human Terms, remains very emotion, deep and different. Ditto's music imparts a new listening experience that is still somewhat indescribable today, but remains approachable and relatable.
