Switzerland's masters of sleaze kick off the salaciously titled Street Meat imprint with a quartet of fresh and frisky edit bangers. Opening cut "Radiation Level" bursts out the speakers in a hail of sirens before working its way through funk guitar licks, rolling bass lines and trashy synth lines - the perfect DJ tool for the backstreet joints. From there we take one small step into space with "Freakin Time", a cosmic-disco-jazz-funk-fusion weapon set to a sultry midtempo. Loose and limber percussion dances around swelling bass tones while the endless cycle of far out synth noodles, guitar riffing and moog solos blaze a spirit lifting trail across the night sky. Over the corner, Alex and Sasha drop the tempo and indulge in some sweet, strutting boogie complete with street sounds scratching and dubbed out keys, before getting loopy with the sultry summer sounds of "Switch", a jazzy little number complete with lively flute and cooing female vocals.
