This is the first 12 release on resopal by brazilian composer and producer Pedro Floriani. His EP is a compilation of four tracks, picked from among many works the artist has created at his studio. Orixa EP is an organic sequence of shifting moods to sublimate existing minimal house or techno paradigms. All four tracks are shaded with bass weight - a reflective, meandering interpretation of the grooves that have always inspired Floriani. All in all a very heavy release. -
Cavan / Roar / Bitcoin / Santeria
Format: 12"
Tracklist:
A1. Cavan "Bitcoin"
B1. Roar "Santeria"
Title-track "Bitcoin" by Cocoon recording artist CAVAAN kicks off the EP in fine style with demanding drums and repetitive chord progressions par excellence which are supplemented by resounding pulses of warm bass. Further elements are expertly added into the equation soon enough, such as a warped spoken-word vocal, numerous melodic textures and trippy flourishes which all come together, building and yielding as the track drops back into its rolling, sun-kissed groove. On the flip-side is "Santeria," by french artist duo ROAR which is marginally the more restrained of the two tracks on offer, characterized by a succession of subtle, misshapen sounds, twisted effects and an ascending synth which compliments the punchy percussion and melodic stabs. -
Mech / SOMA EP
Format: 12"
Price: ¥1790(税込)
Date: 2016/04/10ドイツの名門レーベル<Resopal Schallware>最新作がオススメ!!ドープな激深ディープ・ミニマル・トラックス!!
Tracklist:
A1. Soma
A2. Doxa
B1. Hume
B2. Aura
Description:
On Soma EP Warszaw based duo MECH installs four tracks in the cryptic reduced style of Thomas Brinkmanns Max/Ernst series. The guys deliver an audio work production on Resopal that hovers among forms such as techno, minimalism, and ambient. On all four tracks the elements are limited but the output bounces and rattles within - moving and exploring into more experimental zones of minimalism like Plastikman, Brinkmann, or former Mille Plateaux. A damn solid four tracker whether you know the math or not.
