An evergreen disco-funk-calypso record, Bunny Mack’s ‘Let Me Love You’ from 1980 was the first commercial hit for the Sierra-Leone-born composer and is now available alongside remixes by DJ Gregory and Moplen on this unmissable 12” vinyl package. Perfectly suited to DJ Gregory’s world fusion sensibilities, he worked a remix for Defected in 2008, laying down additional percussion and emphasizing the electric guitar riffs. Italian DJ and vinyl junkie Moplen introduces organ chords and synths in keeping with Bunny Mack’s Afro roots on his brand-new remix Discolypsomix. Completed by an Accapella version courtesy of Bunny Mack himself, this is another stellar lightbulb moment of rediscovery from 4 To The Floor.
