The ep begins with “ Resurrect my feeling “, a dub vocal house jam that is slowly bulding to reach an intense peak with a mix of new and old synths and a funky groove that will make you sweat and dance all night long . In the meantime, listening is also an option because Zepherin knows his music and the sounds and the arrangements are just amazing to dive into. “Escape” and “Escape dub 88” are the same track with different arrangements and sounds , one being obviously more dubby and moodier, the other more musical and sunnier.

Description:

On a chance encounter whilst producing in Nashville of all places, Zepherin was so blown away by vocalists he was using to do backing on a project, that he immediately felt inspired to record a new version of Raphael Saadiq’s classic Skyy, Can You Feel Me. Originally used in his sets as an edit, Zepherin had the soulful house community going into a frenzy with hopes for its release. Tried and tested on dance floors around the globe in his sets it’s now primed and ready for release.

Tribe Records founder Zepherin Saint makes his debut on its sub-label TRIBE Traks with a pair of hedonistic house numbers. Saint has been active in the electronic music since the 80s where he would heat up crowds for the likes of Michael Jackson when not spinning in London’s warehouse scene. His renowned imprint Tribe Records was launched in 2009 and surpassed 100 releases late last year, around the same time TRIBE Traks was launched. The young label has so far hosted the likes of Manoo, Dazzle Drums, Victor Stancov and DJ Angelo, a solid early roster making the label’s 2016 plans even more exciting.‘Tradition’ is a rhythmic number boasting numerous percussive elements and a sultry low-end for an outright party anthem. On the other hand, ‘Canima’ gradually incorporates a medley of synths and atmospherics to form a heightening suspense before introducing an impassioned vocal to the mix.
