Donato Dozzy is back on Spazio Disponibile with two special dance floor (re)works. The long awaited rework of 'Parola' comes first. Previously released on Spectrum Spools back in 2015 on his collaborative album with Anna Caragnano, he spices things up here with the hypnotic vocal loops mangled into trippy and psychedelic patterns with supple, rolling drums taking you deep down into the rabbit hole. On the flip, '12H.5' is a rework taken from the soon to be released Donato Dozzy album on Lorenzo Senni's Presto!? Records. It shows the more melodic and dreamy side of Donato, less dark and more transcendental but just as seductive for your mind. A seven minute long trancy trip, floating towards paradise.

I and Donato always send each others the tracks we make and exchange feedbacks on what we do, but when He sent me this music for the first time for me it's been love at first listen in a way i had never experienced before with his music. i wasn't even thinking i would be the one to release it back then...i just totally fell in love with these tracks when i heard them and was overly excited to the idea of playing them out, that's it. The funny thing is that till now i have been the only one on this planet to play them, Donato himself hasn't played out any and i was reporting to him on a regular basis and almost in real time the reactions of the people on the dancefloor when i would drop Cleo as last track on my sets and on how people would fall in a state of total ecstasy while listening and dancing to it...

Description:
Italian techno doyen Donato Dozzy has long been a favourite at New York club The Bunker, and now he makes an appearance on the club's label. Staying true to the trance-led aesthetic that informs everything he does, "Quadra Sette" is a layered, dense affair, ebbing and flowing over limber break beats. "Quadra Nove" meanwhile is harder and more direct. Designed for the peak-time, it sees the affable artist lay down gnawing tonal bleeps, haunted synth lines and relentless percussive ticks. The end result is reminiscent of Mike Parker getting down with Richie Hawtin's FUSE project and makes for captivating listening.
