Keinemusik all-stars &Me, Rampa and Adam Port have already released two killer collaborations this year, both featuring guest vocalists. 'Confusion' completes the trilogy, with Ali Love - a vocalist best-known for appearing on nu-disco and colourful house records - adding a touch of saucer-eyed soul to proceedings. In its original form (side A), the track is a genuinely emotive and tactile affair, with Love's eyes-closed vocals, melancholic piano lines and held-note chords seemingly floating atop a locked-in tech-house beat. The hybrid deep house/tech house sound continues on the flip, via a subtle rework that seemingly puts more emphasis on the production trio's deliciously bittersweet piano motifs.

Over the course of his discography, Adam Port has made a name for himself as a man of many facets and sentiments. On his new Keinemusik EP, we'll meet him again as the virtuoso of tender, yet inducing tones and grooves, delivering nothing less than an anthemic floor romance on side A, fittingly titled "White Noise Romantica". It’s been quite a wait for new &ME material here on Keinemusik. But these two new cuts, adding to our catalogue number KM046, sure have been worth waiting for. The EP starts with ?The Rapture Pt.II“ and as the title already suggests, it coherently takes up where his last original material had left us, in a stirred state of sweet, harmony-kissed affection. Known as a virtuoso of sound-details, &ME lives up to that reputation, implementing fine synth-elements and temperately rattling percussions, all conjoined by shimmering layers and, of course, an ultimately heart-melting Piano improvisation that at some point will play along to the rhythm of its synthetic brother to a finale that will leave no crowd untouched.

Well, speculate no more, the new tracks are in. In a reading group one might sum it up like this: "Avalon", the A-side, could be read as a crossover of "The Mists Of Avalon", "The Tin Drum" and "The Jungle Book". Rendered into club-lingo, that means: profoundly filtered tribal drums and a feverish haze of noise evoke a certain tropical vibe that is whipped up by the snaredrum frenzy of a hyperactive marching-band-leader. Highly energetic stuff leading into a soothing break of heavenly voices, sounding as if Guinevere herself is yearning for the next mighty drumroll to wreak havoc on the dancefloor. This fragile melodic insertion aside, you won't find many sentimental concessions on this tune, yet an irresistibly pounding floor-appeal.
