The fourth release on LA's Pleasure of Love 'Pleasure of Edits' series features west coast talent Air Zaire on editorial duties. The desert drive opener 'Midnight Sun' finds a hypnotic groove with woodwind leads and acoustic guitar on a cosmic journey through daytime disco. The A2, 'Canguelo Perro,' struts through a Paraguayan groove with a sweet saturated guitar hook that sticks with you in the best possible way. The B side features an off kilter synth bass and pad heavy 80s Japanese flip in 'Shojo Showdown' with crunchy effects and chugging arps leading the way. Closing out the record is 'South of Sunset,' a euphoric looping strings party starter, an instant classic at the Hollywood weekly party.

On the A side, the euphoric Azoto rework is a driving disco romp for 'any time or place,' while “Purple' patiently builds on a hypnotic bass with rhodes and airy leads before a sweet flight attendant lead take off. The 'Bee Side' kicks off with a carefully crafted reimagination of an 80s african house groove with added analog leads and percussion while 'Forever' fills out the release as a peak time disco banger that’s built on the framework of a certain famously unsung disco genius.

Previously, Los Angeles re-edit specialist Dino Soccio has operated under the Only Children alias, serving up filter-heavy, house-fired reworks for Razor 'N' Tape and Nurvous. Here the fast-rising DJ/producer branches out on his own via the new Pleasure of Edits series. There's a brilliantly no-holds-barred feel to opener "Stop", a chunky and full-throttle interpretation of a quirky, arpeggio-driven gem that incorporates elements from boogie, Italo-disco and Moroder-style Euro-disco. There's a similarly quirky feel to the delay-laden, left-of-centre electrofunk shuffler "Tough", while flipside "Sharpflavor" pitches up and toughens up a seriously druggy chunk of Munich Machine style electro-disco sleaziness.
