By the time they reconvened in Sterk's new studio in Amsterdam, a stone's throw away from the temporary, second-‐floor space where they recorded Clouds, much had changed. When they first got together in March 2014, it was for a spontaneous, weekend-‐long exploration of shared musical passions. The B-side is an altogether different affair where Justin dispenses with all of the original music and only keeps the vocal from Felix Dickinson's 2014 acid jam 'Burning Flame'. What comes out the other end sounds like Lee Perry and Murk made a tune once they got back from a sleazy NY after hours. Early plays and support from Gerd Janson, John Talabot, Tim Sweeney.

We follow a conga line through the heart of Bollywood on the A-side for an exotic and extended electro-disco oddity which puts an Indian twist on Donna Summer's "Lucky" and Odyssey's "Use It Up And Wear It Out" with a little bit of "Shaft" thrown in for good measure. Skip to the flip and cop an earful of the rawest funk around, as Mr (or Mrs) NY Edit gets creative with a wah bassline, wikka guitars, lithe organs and screaming disco vocal loops. Six 12” vinyls containing a total of 18 unreleased tracks inspired by the sounds of Cosmic Disco of Lazise (Verona, Italy), where Daniele Baldelli was resident from 1979 until the end of 1984. The six covers, taken together, form a unique artwork that shows the COSMIC logo interpreted by the graphic studio "Drudi Performance", the top in the Racing Design, creator of the helmets of Valentino Rossi, on this occasion became deeply involved with the music world. Chapter 6: In TAXON he intertwined saxophone, free voices, funk, jazzy and electronics. KEVLAR is headed by a strident and wandering guitar on a carpet of percussion. 33VS45 is a piece composed to be played at 33rpm but also lends itself to be proposed in 45rpm in Daniele Baldelli’s style, accustomed to propose records played at the wrong speed for unforeseen effects.

DJ Spider makes his debut on Radio Slave’s Rekids imprint with four physical cuts this June. A key component in New York’s techno scene, over recent years the Plan B Recordings and Sublevel Sounds founder has graced the likes of The Trilogy Tapes, BleeD, KilleKill and Vanguard Sound! Releasing on Rekids as the label celebrates 10 years, Spider’s ‘Ninja Drive-By’ defines why so many hold the American stalwart in such high regard. Dirt Nap’ leads the release with syncopated percussion and a thumping low-end that takes no prisoners. ‘TMC’ is a more subdued production in comparison, blending shadowy synths with an intricate drum workout. ‘Planetary DisFunkshun’ then introduces a penetrating melody amongst robust kicks, until ‘Montag’ concludes the package with moody pads and an inimitable rhythm.
