South African disco release. The title track ‘Dance’, written by Belgian composer Frank Degrijse, was released by Night Force and became a hit throughout Europe in 1980. In South Africa the song was released with permission at a slower tempo (the original 45rpm was ‘officially’ slowed down to 33rpm). Added to this are four tracks by Music Team’s in-house production team the Tom Cats - including dub reworkings of recent Afrosynth releases ‘Burnin Beat’ and ‘Searchin’, here released as ‘Hot Stuff’ and ‘Search For Love’ respectively. Synth-heavy oddities ‘You Are My Fire’ and ‘Shake Shake’ make up the rest of the tracklist.

The A2, "Minnie & Marcos", takes things up a gear and brings the listener on a Rhodes fuelled odyssey, swinging through a variety of dynamically and sonically versatile sections as it pulls and pushes limbs across the dancefloor. (Short for “Fragrant Harbour”) is continuing their steady outputs of two releases a year with this time an EP from BBRB, a Taiwan based duo composed of Riles Jay Bilgo and Benoit Bouquin (who usually released under “L’Amour Fou” along with Move D and Marco Wollenberg) as a 6th release. Powder (Cocktail D’Amore) and Mr. Ho (Klasse Wrecks) completes the EP with a signature space workout of a remix of ‘Cat Slaves’ and a powerful EBM version of “Two Policemen”.

The fifth installment of DJ NOBU's imprint Bitta is a debut EP by a Japanese emerging producer Daisuke Uchiyama. Daisuke has been involved in music making for a long time originally as a bass player and has experimented across various genre from rock to electronic music, but this is his very first solo release. His Egg EP consists of intricate poly-rhythmic techno breakbeats combined with metallic yet organic layers of percussion and pastel-coloured electronic riffs that create the atmospheric depth and abstract beauty while drawing the listeners into hypnosis.
