3 track ep of uneasy psychedelic dub tinged grooves from Yoshinori Hayashi. A hypnotic cry for a late night chicken takeaway kicks off with a 13 minute A side with three tracks knotted together as one. Its opening composition leads to a groove 4 minutes in before closing with a whirling bass crescendo. Backed with two more conventional tracks - the layered dub of 759 and closing out with the punk funk stylings of 9828.

Entrepot Records is a Brussels based imprint, founded in 2014 by UC Beatz - who some of you may know from his Underluxxe digital label The idea here is simple: to release raw house beats on wax. For their eighth edition the label chez himself takes on duties, with some fine slo-mo house grooves - perfectly suited to late summer nights. The A side features the lo-slung boogie down vibes of "Rainbows", but the real dancefloor burners belong to the flipside. The looped-up disco inferno "Playground" is covered in just the right amount of dust and grit that would make Phil Weeks stand up and notice, while the sultry "Nocturne" is a crafty edit of a fine vintage track that's rather familiar indeed.

More from man of mystery Guy Incognito, a producer who's chosen alias is borrowed from an obscure character in the Simpsons. This 12" is marked out by his use of distorted, redlined vocal samples, snappy beats and some of the dreamiest pads and synthesizer melodies known to man, woman or beast. We're particularly taken by the snappy, snare heavy drums, echoing male vocal samples and dewy-eyed pads of A-side "I Think You In My Life", though the cosmic trip that is "Swept Under" - all tough, locked-in beats, tipsy elongated chords and whispered spoken word vocals - pushes it close. As for "The Epic Comedown", it's a far more pleasant, deep and life-affirming experience than the title suggests.

That Hudd Traxx powerhouse keeps on pumping out the jams, with regular Hudd hood Goshawk back in the saddle with some of his most assured beats to date. "Get Up To Get Down" channels a limber, Prince indebted funk, straps it to a simmering house beat and then drafts Erik Rico in for a killer vocal that takes you right back to the best of '90s vocal house. Then Art Of Tones jumps on for a remix that beefs the original up with some more big room elements, as one might well expect from the French titan.
