To mark his second artist album on his own Millionhands label in July, Tee Mango teases with a fantastic second EP from it featuring remixes from Hidden Spheres (Lobster Theremin, NTS), Kiwi (Futureboogie, Optimo, Life & Death) and Hubie Davison (Regraded). The fantastic full length finds the UK artist stretch himself and serve up a dazzling array of soul-drenched, vocal-laced songs featuring his own singing and influenced by the likes of Prince and Bon Iver, alongside awesome gyuest vox from Detroit funk legend and former Funkadelic member Amp Fiddler.

After scoring a flawless hat trick of sampledelic house bangers on his Tribute imprint in 2015, Tee Mango keeps the fire burning under this Theo inspired project with another pair of flawless, floor shakers. "Time Is Up" opens proceedings, charting a course between Inner City's sci fi techno and DJ Sprinkles era Motor City Drum Ensemble as crisp percussion cuts through shimmering arpeggios and nebulous synths. The space dust clears around the midpoint, leaving room for the classic Detroitian vocal sample and one shot filtered Rhodes to blow us away. Over on the other side, "You & Them" is all short looped disco bass and saturated afro moog with heavy use of the delay pedal and a simple vocal refrain - “It was you & them against the world… and we survive together”. This sounds like Afefe Iku battling it out Paperclip People era Carl Craig. These Tribute releases sell out pretty quick, my hunch is that these will not hang about.
